What is a Calcutta? The Calcutta is another word for side bet for a second fish. The main tournament winner will be for the longest redfish. We do have a second fish that can win you some $$$. The Calcutta fish is the Blue Fish. This fish eats the same bait as the redfish, so it was selected as the Calcutta fish. In order to register for the Calcutta you must enter the tournament and then pay the side bet amount of $10 extra (this is not included in your tournament ticket price). The longest bluefish will win! Last year the Calcutta pot paid over $2,200 for just the $10 entry. You can register by Clicking Here, selecting "Get Tickets" & selecting the "Calcutta"

What are the boundaries?Boundaries will start at Northbeach jetties and go towards the pier. The exact boundary marker will be announced the day before the event. Anyone fishing outside of the boundary line will not count.
Is there a limit to the amount of space I can spread my poles apart?Anglers are allowed 2 rods in the water. We suggest a max of 20 ft between your rods. This does not mean that other anglers have to have their rods 20 ft from yours.
Is the use of drones, bait launchers, etc. allowed? No! All casts must be traditional.
How are the fish measured? Each zone has measuring officials that will take official measurements. The measurement will be to the 1/4 in. Please Note: Our officials are volunteers. They are the only reason we can put on this event. Each measurement must be co-signed by the official and the agreed with by the angler.
